Easy prep directions right on the label - ready in about 1 hour or simmer longer for deeper flavors. Add our gumbo base to 6 cups of water or stock and bring to a boil, then add your favorite meats or seafood. Optional: Add okra and/or stewed tomatoes.
Two recipes included: works great with chicken and sausage (Smoked, Cajun, Andouille or Tasso) or seafood (crabs, shrimp, oysters and/or crawfish).
Serves 4 to 6, enough to satisfy a small family or group of friends. Serve hot over a bed of boiled/steamed Louisiana rice.
